Capricorn Caves!
Spectacular caves located north of Rockhampton, which are a unique system of above-ground caves in a limestone ridge.
Young people will develop self esteem, leadership and team dynamics in a fun and amazing atmosphere. Activities are based on problem solving promoting lateral thinking and team dynamics in an enjoyable, fun atmosphere.
You will be able to learn about the history and formation of the caves, learn about the amazing wildlife, get to see some fossils and see a presentation of the geology of the caves.
The activities are wicked and you get to climb through the caves and be amazed by their beauty!!!
The date set for this camp is 2nd-4th April 2012
ACTION CHALLENGE CAMP
ACTION CHALLENGE offers adventure based training programs which are geared toward assisting individuals and working teams discover some of their true potential.
The adventure based training program has been run by Action Challenge since 1988. It was started by Mr Noel Cowan in response to a perceived need to provide a natural training area where individual community, and business organizations could come together to participate in team building activities. Since its inception, it has been used widely by a large number of such organizations with outstanding results.

MYSS CREW, should you decide to accept it, is to go on camp--ACTION CHALLENGE CAMP.
Invite young people from your high school to lead and be lead, to laugh and be challenged into
extreme measures to overcome obstacles and realse your fears and ager and pull together to get the job done.
So there you have it -- the scene was set and of course and after little discussion we took the mission...........
MYSS has been doing this camp for a few years and see's the change in the young people who attended and have a go.
The day starts with amazing activities such as the low rope climb and the swing. All pitching in to support each other and work in teams so no one got left behind. Over the days high and low rope courses and other activities are put to the test followed by the leap of faith (bom, bom, booom, bom)
We have witnessed the young people who are involved have the most awesomest time and enjoy the experience.
On a more personal note what i saw was a group of young people who didn't know each other come together and work together like they had known each other for years. All the young people went home from this experience with new friends and connections, connections with who they are and where they fit in their lives. This is why i do the work that i do and why i am so passionate about young people. They have so much to offer and i guess for some people, sometimes it can be hard to see those positives and see those awesome attributes and also the endless possibilities and potential that the Youth of today have. I was totally touched and moved by this group in so many ways. I wish to thank Noel and Sandra for having us all and providing everything we needed. Most of all i really want to thank all the Young People who attended camp for reminding me of who i am and where i fit in my life !!!!!
